Kookaburra

Today when we went up to feed Boaz there was a kookaburra sitting high up in a gum tree laughing at me. Can you spot him?

Here I'll help you.


I don't know why the Kookaburra was laughing at me because I don't think I was doing anything overly hilarious. I was just laying down in the sun minding my own business.

Do you know why the Kookaburra might of been laughing at me?

Alien

Clearly my mum has too much time on her hands. Just look what she did to me.

She thinks this is funny to warp my photo so I look like an alien.

I'm not happy with my mum at all. On Saturday she left me at home while she went to a birthday party. I barked and howled for her to come back to get me but she didn't. She didn't return home till it was almost bedtime so I didn't get my usual playtime or cuddle time.
Then on Sunday afternoon she gave me a bath, I wasn't even dirty. Then she played around on the computer warping my photos. Grrr!
What did I do to deserve this?

Lizard

Look what was on our driveway today.

It's a Blue Tongue Lizard and mum said it was almost as long as me.

It scurried away into the bushes when we got too close to it.

I hope it doesn't get run over. We like lizards!

True Colours Thursday - Pink

Last week I noticed my new friend Tibby playing this really fun game so I went over to the maker's blog Blue to ask if I could join in.

Every Thursday Blue chooses a colour and we have to look for things in that colour and post them on our blogs.
This Thursday's colour is Pink.

Now because I am a boy I don't own anything pink except for my tongue

My mum however is a real girly girl and owns lots of pink things.

Look even mum's fish tank has pink flowers in it!

Boaz is that you?

Hmm Boaz looks different this morning but I can't work out why.
Has he shrunk? He's usually much taller than this and why on earth are his long legs curled under him?
Maybe he thinks he's a dog and is copying me when I lie in the sun?

Windy Day

Boy it was windy here yesterday. I had to stay in the car while Mummy fed Boaz cause she was scared I'd get blow away.
We had wind gusts of 157kph (98 miles) and over 25,000 people lost power (we were one of them) because 20 Hydro poles fell down.
Thank Dog no idiots decided to light a fire near us cause otherwise it would of been very, very bad.

Magpie

I hate birds but my mum loves them so she won't let me chase them.

This is a pic mum took of a Magpie. There are about 12 of them in Boaz's paddock at the moment. They are really noisy.
This is what they sound like. Mum says she loves the call of a Magpie.

Yesterday a little black & grey bird fell down our flu and got stuck in the fireplace. Mummy shut me in another room while she tried to get the bird out.
It flew around the loungeroom for about 10 minutes until it wore itself out and mum was able to pick it up and take it outside to let it go.
I wish I could of helped her to catch the bird. I wouldn't of killed it I swear!
