Bushfires

Hello my friends,
I know some of you are very concerned that the bushfires might be near me so I wanted to put your minds at ease and let you know that they're not but thank you all so, so much for your care and concern.


We are all very saddened here in Australia. Being such a small Country almost everybody knows somebody who lost their house or worse in what is being called "the worst bushfires Australia has ever seen."

Your thoughts, prayers and wishes are very much appreciated by all and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My Lucky Day

Today was a very lucky day for me as I received 2 packages in the mail.
One was from Petitude that contained new clothes which I will be parading for you guys in upcoming weeks.
The other package contained a special car-seat just for me because I'm not allowed to sit in the front seat of my Grandma's new car because of it's airbags.




I absolutely love my new car-seat. Mum didn't think I would because I'm so used to sitting on her lap in the front seat so she was very surprised and happy.

I like my new seat because I'm up high and can see out of all the windows plus I feel safe and secure in my own little bed that's all mine. I can even lie down if I want to.

Day off

Today is a public holiday here in Tasmania because it is the day of the AAMI Hobart Cup

And the Hobart Regatta


I won't be going to either of those events today. Mummy and I will be having a lazy day at home together instead.

Coco who gave me this wonderful award is a fairly new friend of mine.
She is the smallest & cutest chihuahua I've ever seen. And she has a humongous heart and loads of personality for someone so small.
I am very lucky to have her as my friend And I hope we stay best friends forever!

10 things About Me

1. I'm very outgoing and will go to anybody, even people I don't know.

2. I get obsessed with my toys and treat them like they're living things.

3. I can't poop anywhere except in the privacy of my own backyard & then only when no one is watching.

4. I sometimes won't come when I'm called if I think I'm gonna be in trouble. Which is stupid because I only get in trouble if I don't come.

5. I know sit, stay and lay down but I'll only do them if I know I'm gonna get something out of it like a treat.

6. Sometimes I'm too smart for my own good and try and push the boundaries. Example of this is when I got taken on a walk by my mums nephew, who is 8 and because he was only small and didn't know how to walk me properly, I played up on him. Then when mum went to walk me later, I tried to play up again, on her, to see if I could get away with it.

7. I like putting on clothes because it means we're going out and I get lots of attention from it so sometimes, I go and grab my clothes and try to dress myself, as a hint to mum that I want to go out.

8. I have an igloo bed right next to mums bed but every night, at the same time (4:30am) I sneak into mums bed with her.

9. I like other dogs except when I'm in my mums arms. I will growl at them to back off when I'm in mums arms like I gotta protect her from them.

10. I play with my food and I eat my toys. I guess you could call me strange and hyperactive.

True Colours Thursday - Orange

I had to look alot harder this week for orange coloured things than I had to last week for pink.

I didn't even realise, until now, that my favourite coat from Petitude is lined with the colour orange.





In the Fish Tank there was an Orange Star









And inside the Fridge was an Orange Carrot

Now that he's gone I'm gonna go eat some yummy Orange lollies.

Kookaburra

Today when we went up to feed Boaz there was a kookaburra sitting high up in a gum tree laughing at me. Can you spot him?

I don't know why the Kookaburra was laughing at me because I don't think I was doing anything overly hilarious. I was just laying down in the sun minding my own business.

Alien

Clearly my mum has too much time on her hands. Just look what she did to me.

She thinks this is funny to warp my photo so I look like an alien.

I'm not happy with my mum at all. On Saturday she left me at home while she went to a birthday party. I barked and howled for her to come back to get me but she didn't. She didn't return home till it was almost bedtime so I didn't get my usual playtime or cuddle time.
Then on Sunday afternoon she gave me a bath, I wasn't even dirty. Then she played around on the computer warping my photos. Grrr!
What did I do to deserve this?
