I have no toys

By Gizmo

Aaarggh, it's not fair. My chew toys were taken off me over the weekend and put in the rubbish bin.

First to go was my purple bone that I had started to de-stuff.

Second was my chicken, I nearly ate his beak off and mum was afraid I'd swallow it.

And lastly my green boomerang that I decided to chew a hole in just today.

All of them gone for good. Why Why Why!
Looks like I will have to go back to playing with my food even though it's wrong.

Why do they make dog toys that say you have to remove them if dogs start to eat them. Hello they're dogs, that's what they do.
How stupid is that!

Does anyone know of any toys that are safe if dogs start to eat them? I can't seem to find any.
And has anyone tried those latex type toys that are supposed to be bite proof?

I give Gizmo those rawhide treats to chew on but instead of chewing on them, he plays with them and his toys he's supposed to play with, he eats!

Not fair!
Sorry I don't have an advice for you. I've never destuffed-eaten any toy.
I hope your mom finds good and strong toys for you.

Mmmm I have the same problem Katie...
Chels has the exact bone as Gizmo, long gone...now with 2 dogs they need to be super tough but the toys just arent cutting it...drives me nuts paying alot of money for some and they all fall apart

Sorry Gizmo....but me and the little Midget don't de-stuff or chew holes in our toys. We don't want to make them cry, so we don't hurt them. Good luck finding one you can't hurt.

Gizmo,

Look at it this way, by getting rid of the old broken toys you've made room for new ones! I'm sure you're gonna get some new ones soon!

:/ Nothing is "bite proof" if they want to bite it badly enough... I have a latex toy that Gracie, my parents' dog, tore into.

I tend to just push the stuffing back into stuffies and sew them back together. I've never thrown away any of Dobby's toys :) ...but then, he is usually very gentle.

Good luck!

Yep, I know what you mean. when I start destuffing something, mom pulls all of the stuffing out and lets me play with the stuffie skin. My best chewy toy is a Chew N Clean bone. I also like my Nylabone. They are good for chewing but a little too hard for tug-o-war. They both last for a long time with lots of chewing. I have three of four of them and now that riley is here he chews on them. Usually he wants the one I have.
